A while back I was watching a fly fishing video of Scott Major fishing the Broadhead Creek.  One of the flies he was using was called the IOBO, an acronym for ” it ought be outlawed”.  Scott mentioned that if you Google IOBO fly you can find a video showing how to tie this pattern.  Having never heard of this fly I watched the video and I suggest you do also.  This is a very simple and quickly tied fly.  It uses only one material, a single cdc feather.  I tie it using natural dun, yellow and olive cdc feathers

Hook : Tiemco 102Y;  size 15

Thread :  8/0 to match the cdc feather color

Body, shellback and wing  :  Cdc feather
