Gray Ugly

This fly is essentially a color variation of the Renegade with the addition of a tail.  The combination of peacock herl and grizzly hackle seems to have a special attracting quality to trout.  When tying, the rear hackle is undersized.  The front hackle is normal for the hook used.  Counter winding with fine silver wire increases the durability of the pattern.
