Pink Cahill Parachute

Many of the species of light colored mayflies have a pink cast to them.  In some it is very slight but in others it is pronounced enough to have the color as part of their common name; i.e. Pink Albert.  Because of this it’s good practice to have the Pink Cahill Parachute available in a range of sizes in your fly box.

Hook : Dry fly; #10 – #18

Tail : Fibetts; light dun or white

Body : Pink dubbing

Wing : Widow’s Web or similar; white or light dun

Hackle : Light dun
