The next fly in the haze series is the Rusty Haze. Many of the flies in our area have a rusty brown color in both the dun and spinner stage. This fly can be tied in sizes #10 and #12 to represent some of the larger rusty colored flies like the ISO's and March Brown Spinner and in sizes #14 - #20 to represent the smaller rusty flies and spinners.

Hook - Dry fly #10 - #20
Thread - Rusty brown 8/0
Tail - Dyed gray elk or deer hair
Body - Rusty brown dubbing
Rib - Root beer Krystal Flash
Post - White calf hair
Hackle - Dark dun & Grizzly mixed tied parachute style
